Let's Talk

LT

An inclusive, safe place to learn about human sexuality

Lawrence - Douglas County Public Health's let's talk is an inclusive, comprehensive sexuality education organization committed to providing Kansans of all ages access to information and evolving tools to support their developing self-determination and optimal well-being.

let's talk uses a model that is focused more broadly around promoting the well-being, health, and dignity of individuals. Helping people contemplate their personal values and think critically about their decisions using a wider lens of health engages people around additional critical aspects of sexuality such as consent, relationships, identity, pleasure, and comfort with one’s body.

BRING THE LT CURRICULUM TO YOUR COMMUNITY.

As the only independently run sex education program in Kansas which meets state criteria, Let's Talk offers an opportunity for schools and organizations throughout the state to save time and resources by incorporating our established curriculum in place of existing human sexuality courses. By forming a partnership with Let's Talk you will gain access to not only our educational framework - but support from our staff, teaching tools, and digital assets that will enhance and simplify your job of communicating sensitive topics to young learners.
