[ARCHIVED] Lawrence-Douglas County Covid-19 Testing at Walmart

LAWRENCE 

Free COVID-19 testing is available for Douglas County residents from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays, starting Feb. 2, in the Walmart parking lot, 3300 Iowa Street, in Lawrence.

 

It’s a saliva-based PCR test that checks for active virus. Participants cannot eat, drink or use tobacco for 30 minutes prior to receiving a test. Test results will be available within 48 to 96 hours.

 

Individuals are encouraged to make an appointment at: GoGetTested.com/Kansas and only one appointment is needed per vehicle. Appointments are preferred, but not required. The testing is free and does not require insurance or identification. It is available to anyone.

 

The testing site is available through Lawrence-Douglas County Public Health, LMH Health, Kansas Department of Health and Environment and WellHealth.
